Commemorative Brick Fundraiser Kicks Off

In celebration of Van Alstyne’s 150th birthday the Friends of the Van Alstyne Library proudly offers engraved commemorative bricks for placement in the future Eula Umphress and Robert Hynds Park (scheduled for spring of 2024) or in Dorothy Fielder Park.

Commemorative bricks are the perfect way to remember a loved one, provide a testimonial, or be a part of the City you call home.

Your tax-deductible purchase supports the Friends of the Library.

The donor may choose the park for brick installation. The initial campaign runs from October 12 2023 through January 31 .

Promote your business and support the Library with the Van Alstyne Map Project

To participate in this special fundraising opportunity, orders must be submitted by October 15, 2023.

Placing an ad on the colorful Van Alstyne Map is a creative way of getting your business in front of new customers. New residents and visitors come to Van Alstyne every day – the map will show them exactly where your business is located. And, you’ll be helping support the Friends of the Van Alstyne Public Library. The map is available in both print and digital formats.
The revenue from ad fees will help support the Friends of the Van Alstyne Public Library.
